Skin overview

The appeal of Nitro is its plain contrast: a bright orange lower half against a dark upper half, with no pattern to distract from it. In Minimal Wear that contrast is practically unchanged, and the small marks on edges and the magazine base only show up on close inspection. For most buyers it reads the same as the cleanest grade in normal play.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The slide is painted dark grey to near black, with a slightly lighter tone along its top and the rear serrations. The frame, trigger guard, grip and magazine base are a flat tangerine orange, while the slide release, takedown lever, magazine release and trigger are left black.

Small scuffs grow slightly on the trigger guard front, the magazine base and the edges of the grip texture. The slide may pick up faint marks on its corners. The large orange surfaces of the frame stay clean, and the colour split is unchanged. At normal distance it is hard to tell from Factory New.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The float of Souvenir Five-SeveN | Nitro ranges from 0.06 to 0.8; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 11% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir Five-SeveN | Nitro belongs to The Chop Shop Collection, which holds 16 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Black, white and orange stickers sit naturally on the orange frame, while bright blue gives a deliberate contrast. Placed on the dark slide, light or holographic stickers stand out best.

• Look at the inspect view of the trigger guard front and magazine base, since these spots show wear first.
• Check where the float sits within the grade, because on a plain finish every scuff is easy to see.
• Souvenir copies come with preset stickers, so check that their placement suits you.
