Skin overview

G3SG1 | Chronos covers the sniper rifle's furniture in a hydrographic of watch mechanisms: gears, dials and small parts in blue, violet and purple, with orange decal accents. In Factory New the dense pattern stays sharp, so individual cogs and clock faces can be picked out up close. The dark metal of the receiver and barrel frames the colour without competing with it.

Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Appearance in Factory New

The handguard, stock, pistol grip and the scope tube carry a dense hydrographic of watch mechanisms in blue, violet and purple tones with lighter highlights. Orange-yellow decal accents sit on the front of the handguard and on the stock near the grip.

The print is complete on every painted part, including the edges of the handguard and the scope ends. Fine details of the gears and dials stay crisp, and the orange decals have clean outlines. In game the rifle shows a vivid blue-violet surface with no visible marks.

Factory New quality — float range 0–0.07

The float of Souvenir G3SG1 | Chronos ranges from 0 to 0.4; the Factory New quality covers 0–0.07 — 18% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Gods and Monsters Collection with 14 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in blue, purple or holographic finishes blend with the clockwork print, while orange or gold ones echo the decal accents. Placing them on the dark receiver keeps them readable against the busy pattern.

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the top of a grade look cleaner on the edges.
• Look at the handguard edges, stock butt and grip on the inspect screen, as these lose the print first.
• Check the condition of the orange decals on the handguard and stock, which define much of the skin's look.
• Souvenir copies come with stickers already applied, so make sure they suit you before buying.
