Skin overview

Green Cell is a spray-painted green and black honeycomb pattern on the G3SG1. In Battle-Scarred large areas of paint are gone, leaving patches of green cells on a worn, metal-showing rifle. It is the roughest and most affordable way to put this camouflage on the auto-sniper.

Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The handguard, receiver and pistol grip are covered in a hex pattern of olive and sage green cells outlined in lighter green with darker gaps between them. The scope tube carries the same cell pattern, while the stock is finished in a mostly plain light olive tone.

Large parts of the handguard, scope and stock show bare metal, and the hex pattern survives only in scattered patches. The receiver top and all edges are heavily stripped. In game the rifle looks dark and battered with spots of green. Only recessed areas keep noticeable fragments of the original cells.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Olive, khaki, black and muted gold stickers blend with the hex camouflage for a tactical look. Placing them on the plain olive stock or the receiver side keeps the cell pattern on the handguard visible.

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the clean end of a grade keep the scope rims and handguard edges intact longer.
• Look at the handguard edges, scope and stock corners on the inspect screen, as these show paint loss first.
• On Souvenir copies, check which stickers are applied and whether they suit the green palette.
• Check for a name tag if you prefer the default item name.
