Show allAllSkin overview
Hunter dresses the G3SG1 like a classic wooden-stocked rifle, and the finish suits a bit of use. In Field-Tested light scratches appear on the wood and along the black edges, which makes the gun look carried rather than new. The overall brown-and-black silhouette stays fully readable.
Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Field-Tested
The receiver, barrel, scope and pistol grip are finished in plain black, close to the stock look of the rifle. The handguard carries wood panels in a reddish-brown mahogany tone, split by a darker diagonal band, and the same wood covers the magazine and the stock.
Light scratches spread over the handguard wood and the front edges of the panels, and the magazine and stock butt show scuffing. The raised edges of the receiver start to show thin lighter lines. In game the wear is visible on close inspection but the wooden look stays intact. The central areas of the stock and the scope body remain mostly clean.
Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of Souvenir G3SG1 | Hunter is 0–1; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (23% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Spectrum 2 Collection with 17 skins in total.
The source is Spectrum 2 Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Stickers in brown, gold, cream or black tones blend with the wood and metal without breaking the traditional look. Placements on the black receiver stand out more clearly than those on the wood panels, so a single muted sticker there often works better than several bright ones.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the condition of the wood panels changes noticeably across the range.
- Inspect the handguard panel edges and the bottom of the magazine, as these lose finish first.
- Look at the receiver and scope mount edges for lighter metal showing through the black.
- Note any stickers or name tag, and decide whether they suit the wooden look.
Who the Field-Tested quality suits
- Players who like a rifle that looks used but still tidy.
- Buyers who want the wooden style without paying for a clean grade.
- A balanced middle option for everyday play.
