Skin overview

In Battle-Scarred the white body of Galil AR | Eco carries heavy dirt and chipped areas, which stand out strongly against the light base. The green parts still give the rifle its recognisable silhouette in hand. This is the most affordable way to get the scheme with a rough, heavily used character.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The receiver, handguard and stock are painted off-white, with a barcode decal and fine markings on the receiver and a green looped emblem on the stock. The barrel, gas tube, top rail accents and front sight details are lime green, as is the ribbed magazine.

Heavy dirt and large worn patches cover the white body, with paint loss on the handguard, receiver and stock edges. The magazine, grip and muzzle carry many scratches and chips. The decals are faded or partly gone. The white-and-green contrast remains, but the clean look of the finish is lost.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.85

The float of Souvenir Galil AR | Eco ranges from 0.1 to 0.85; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.85 — 53% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Chroma 2 Collection with 15 skins in total.

It drops from Chroma 2 Case (on sale since Apr 15, 2015).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Green, white and black stickers fit the lime-and-white scheme without breaking it. Placing them on the white receiver or handguard keeps them readable against the light base.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, because grime on the white paint changes the look quickly.
  • Inspect the handguard edges, muzzle and magazine ribs, as these parts show wear first.
  • Look at the barcode and stock emblem decals, which fade on more worn copies.
  • Check applied stickers and name tag, and whether the copy is StatTrak™ or Souvenir.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

  • Players looking for the lowest entry into this skin.
  • Fans of heavily worn, gritty finishes.
  • Conclusion: the budget pick with a rough look.
