Souvenir Galil AR | Galigator (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

Galigator is built around the green alligator on the receiver and the radiation symbols on the yellow handguard, set over green with lighter yellow streaks. In Field-Tested the finish starts to show scuffs along the edges and rails, which fits the rough, hazardous theme of the artwork. The main colours and the alligator remain easy to recognise.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The receiver is painted green with a lighter green alligator stretched along its side and yellow spatter around it. The handguard is solid bright yellow with black radiation symbols, while the barrel, muzzle, sights and rails stay in a pale metal tone.

Scuffs become visible on the handguard edges, the rails, the bottom of the magazine and the stock corners. The yellow handguard can show light patches of paint loss around the radiation symbols. The alligator on the receiver remains mostly whole. In game the rifle still reads as clearly green and yellow.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir Galil AR | Galigator is 0–1; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (23% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Dead Hand Collection with 17 skins in total.

It drops from Sealed Dead Hand Terminal.

What it costs in each quality

Among 5 skins of the Galil AR in the Restricted grade and this quality, this skin is the dearest.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in green, yellow or black match the toxic palette and blend with the artwork. Placing them on the receiver away from the alligator keeps the main motif visible, while dark stickers stand out well against the yellow handguard area.

What to look at before you buy

• Look at where the float sits within its wear grade, since the skin spans the full float range and copies in the same grade can look different.
• Check the yellow handguard and the radiation symbols, as they are the first large area to lose paint.
• Look at the alligator on the receiver to make sure it is intact enough for your taste.
• Check applied stickers and name tags, because they change how the receiver and handguard read.

Who should buy Field-Tested

• Players who want the full theme for everyday use and do not mind visible scuffs.
• Buyers who like a used look that fits the hazardous artwork.
• Conclusion: the practical choice for playing with the design.
