Skin overview

This is the most worn grade of a grayscale hydrographic finish, where the smoky pattern competes with bare metal showing through. The magazine, handguard and receiver edges carry heavy scuffing, while the flatter areas still hold the grey blotches. It suits anyone who likes a weathered rifle and does not mind a rough look.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The receiver, handguard and magazine are covered in a hydrographic print of mottled grey, from near-black to pale ash, forming soft, irregular smoke-like patches. The ribbed handguard and the curved magazine show the pattern most clearly because of their large surfaces.

The magazine and handguard are heavily worn, with large patches of bare metal breaking the smoke pattern. Edges, ribs and rails are almost stripped of print. In game the rifle reads as rough and weathered, with a mix of grey blotches and pale scuffing. Only the flatter receiver areas keep a recognisable pattern.

The skin’s collection is The Ascent Collection with 28 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

The neutral grey base works with almost any palette: black, white and silver stickers keep the monochrome look, while a single bright red or yellow sticker on the receiver creates a strong accent. Holo or foil stickers stand out well against the matte smoky pattern.
