Skin overview

Glock-18 | Brass is a two-tone pistol: a brass slide with a darker patina on top, grey polymer below. In Field-Tested the slide shows noticeable rubbing on its edges and front, which actually suits the idea of aged metal. The finish reads as used brass rather than damaged paint.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The slide is finished in a brass yellow with a darker olive patina mottled across its surface, and the muzzle end shows a polished brass rim around the barrel opening. The frame, trigger guard and grip keep a plain grey-green polymer tone, with the textured grip panel left as is.

Rubbing becomes visible on the slide front, the top edges and the rear serrations, where the brass turns darker and less even. The sides of the slide start to show patchy areas mixed into the patina. In game the gun still reads as brass and grey, just with an aged surface. The frame and grip remain mostly clean.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The float of Souvenir Glock-18 | Brass ranges from 0 to 1; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 23% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Dust Collection with 9 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Gold, holo and foil stickers in warm yellow tones match the brass slide, while black or dark olive designs fit the patina. Placing stickers on the grey frame gives them a neutral background and keeps the slide's brass visible.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the slide's brightness changes noticeably between the cleaner and dirtier ends of the same grade.
  • Look at the slide front and top edges in the inspect view, as these are the first places where the brass dulls.
  • Make sure applied stickers sit well on the slide or frame and do not clash with the brass tone.
  • Check whether the copy carries a name tag and decide if it suits the restrained look of the skin.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

  • Players who like the aged-metal look and do not mind visible edge wear.
  • Buyers who want the skin's character at a moderate cost.
  • Conclusion: a fitting grade for a finish built around patina.
