Show allAllSkin overview
Gamma Doppler on the Glock-18 is all about the slide: a marbled candy coat in green, teal and blue over a darker base. In Field-Tested the edges of the slide begin to lose colour and show lighter metal, while the flat sides keep most of the gradient. It is a compromise between colour and cost that still reads as a clearly green Phase 4.
Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The finish covers only the slide: a candy-coated anodized layer in green, teal and touches of blue lies over a darker marbled pattern from the black and silver base. Near the muzzle the colour brightens into a light green glow, while towards the rear sight it deepens into blue-green with darker veins.
The top edge of the slide and the muzzle face show thin lines of exposed metal, and the rear serrations begin to lighten. The flat sides still carry most of the green and teal with the marble pattern visible. In game the pistol looks green with slightly brighter edges. Close inspection shows the wear is uneven along the slide.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of Souvenir Glock-18 | Gamma Doppler Phase 4 is 0–0.5; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (46% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir Glock-18 | Gamma Doppler Phase 4 belongs to The 2021 Train Collection, which holds 17 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Holo and foil stickers in green, teal or silver echo the candy coat and blend well with the slide. Dark or black stickers on the grey frame near the grip keep the focus on the coloured slide.
What to check before buying
- Look at the float position within the wear range, since copies at the cleaner end keep noticeably more colour on the slide edges.
- Inspect the top edge of the slide, the muzzle face and the rear serrations, as these lose the candy coat first.
- Check how green or blue the slide looks in the inspect view, because the balance of tones varies between copies.
- Note whether the copy is a Souvenir with preapplied stickers that cannot be chosen.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who want a clearly green Glock-18 for everyday rounds.
- Buyers balancing colour and cost.
- Conclusion: a practical middle ground for regular use.
