Skin overview

This Glock-18 is recognised by its candy-coated slide, where dark marbling runs through shifting blue and green tones. At Minimal Wear the finish still reads as clean in the hand, with only faint marks that are hard to see without close inspection. It is a way to get the full Gamma Doppler look for less than the top grade.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The finish covers the slide: a dark marbled base with blue, teal and green tones flowing over it under a glossy candy coat, brightening to a vivid green near the muzzle. The frame, trigger guard and textured grip stay in plain grey polymer and do not change with wear.

Small specks may appear on the sharp edges of the slide and near the muzzle, visible mainly on inspection. The colour depth and marble detail are practically the same as Factory New. In normal play the difference is hard to notice. The top of the slide and the main colour field remain clean.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir Glock-18 | Gamma Doppler is 0–0.5; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (16% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Holographic and foil stickers in blue, green or silver match the candy colours of the slide. Placement on the slide works best, as the plain grey frame adds little to the craft. Warm reds and oranges contrast sharply and suit only a deliberate high-contrast craft.

• Look at how the blue and green tones fall on the visible side of the slide, since the pattern placement differs between copies.
• Check the slide edges and the muzzle end first, as these lose the coating earliest.
• Compare the float position within the grade, because low-float copies of a grade can look noticeably cleaner.
