Show allAllSkin overview
This finish relies on strong red tones rather than fine detail, which helps it hold its identity in worse condition. On a Well-Worn copy the slide edges, muzzle and grip print show clear scratches, and the paint begins to look patchy. From a distance the pistol still reads as a red Glock-18.
Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.
Appearance in Well-Worn
The slide is painted in a dark, glossy wine red with thin circuit-like lines and small printed markings along its side, and the rear serrations are picked out in the same tone. The frame and grip use a brighter, matte scarlet with fine diagonal texture, the word GHOST runs down the grip and a smaller PROTOCOL marking sits near its base.
Paint loss spreads across the slide edges, the muzzle area, the frame front and the magazine baseplate. The GHOST lettering is clearly scratched, and the thin lines on the slide start to break up. The middle of the slide and the grip panels still carry most of the red. In game the scratches are visible on the slide, though the overall colour holds.
Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45
The float of Souvenir Glock-18 | Ghost Protocol ranges from 0 to 0.9; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 8% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Spy Tech Collection with 17 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Red, black and white stickers keep the monochrome look intact, and holographic or foil red stickers echo the play of sheens on the finish. Placements on the dark slide stand out less than on the bright frame, so choose the spot depending on whether the sticker should blend in or contrast.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end of a grade show far fewer scratches.
- Inspect the slide edges and the muzzle, as these lose paint first on this finish.
- Look at the GHOST lettering on the grip, which shows wear clearly against the bright frame.
- Check any applied stickers, because colours that clash with the monochrome red change the look a lot.
Who should buy Well-Worn
- Budget players who mainly care about the red colour scheme.
- Fans of a used look who do not mind scratched lettering.
- Conclusion: an affordable way to own the skin with visible character.
