Skin overview

Glock-18 | Grinder is built around a single dark spiral motif on the slide, which gives the pistol a heavy, mechanical look. In Field-Tested the patina finish starts to lighten on the edges and the front of the slide, so the dark blocks look slightly faded rather than damaged. The spiral itself stays readable, and the grey frame changes little.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The slide carries the whole design: a near-black surface with rows of dark rectangular blocks that wind into a spiral centred near the front of the slide, with a subtle violet tint and a thin cyan line along the top edge. The muzzle face and the front of the slide show bare light metal.

Field-Tested copies show more noticeable fading on the slide edges, the muzzle end and around the rear sight. The dark blocks near these areas lose some depth, and the violet tint becomes less visible. The centre of the spiral still reads clearly in game. The grey frame and grip show little change.

The float of Souvenir Glock-18 | Grinder ranges from 0.02 to 0.25; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.25 — 43% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Stickers and crafts

Dark, holographic or violet-toned stickers match the slide and the sheen in the pattern. Placing them on the plain grey frame rather than on the slide keeps the spiral uncovered.

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since lower values keep the slide edges darker.
• Inspect the slide edges and the muzzle end, as these lighten first.
• Look at the centre of the spiral near the front of the slide to see how much of the violet sheen remains.
