Skin overview

Glock-18 | Sand Dune in Battle-Scarred keeps its sandy colour identity but shows heavy paint loss along the slide, muzzle and magazine base. The beige layers look patchy, with dark metal showing in broad areas, giving the pistol a rough desert-worn character. The range does not reach the very bottom of the float scale, so the paint never disappears entirely.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The slide is sprayed a pale sand colour with faint mottling, and the rear serrations carry the same tone. The polymer frame and textured grip are a slightly deeper tan, while the trigger, slide release and small controls sit in a similar muted beige.

Large areas of the slide have lost their paint, with dark metal showing across the top, muzzle and serrations. The magazine base and frame edges are heavily worn, and scuffs reach the controls. At normal distance the pistol reads as patchy and weathered, though the sandy tone is still recognisable. The grip panels remain the most intact part.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.8

The float of Souvenir Glock-18 | Sand Dune ranges from 0.06 to 0.8; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.8 — 47% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Alpha Collection with 16 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Price by quality

The comparison uses our cheapest listing of each quality; where there is none, the market reference.

By price this skin is 3rd of 6 skins Industrial Grade Glock-18 in this quality (the first being the dearest).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in brown, olive, gold or muted orange blend with the sand palette, while black or dark red designs give a clear accent against the pale slide. The flat sides of the slide offer the most visible spot for a single focal sticker.

What to look at before you buy

  • Look at the slide's top edges and the muzzle, because these are the first places where the paint chips.
  • Within each grade compare the float position, as copies at the cleaner end show noticeably less dark metal on the slide.
  • Souvenir copies come with stickers already applied, so check whether those stickers fit what you want.
  • Check any applied stickers or name tag, since they change how the plain beige finish looks.

Who should buy Battle-Scarred

  • Players who want the most weathered version of the desert finish.
  • The cheapest entry for those who simply want a skin on their Glock-18.
  • A choice for a rough, worn look where heavy paint loss is the point.
