Skin overview

This Glock-18 skin keeps its whole design on the slide: a dark blue field with fine sparkle and light blue accents on the edges, serrations and muzzle. Minimal Wear copies show at most a few tiny marks, which are hard to spot behind the busy speckled texture. For most buyers it reads the same as the cleanest grade in the hand, at a lower grade on paper.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Field-Tested.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The finish is concentrated on the slide, which is coated in a dark blue anodized layer with a fine speckled, sparkling texture. The rear serrations, the slide edges and the rings around the muzzle are picked out in a brighter light blue, and small blue accents appear on the controls near the frame.

At this grade a few small marks may appear on the muzzle and the front corners of the slide. The speckled texture hides most of them, so the blue field looks uniform at normal distance. The serrations and the upper slide surface stay clean. In game it is very hard to tell apart from Factory New.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Blue, silver and holo stickers continue the night-sky theme of the slide without fighting it. Placing them on the grey frame works well, since it gives colour to the plain part while leaving the speckled slide visible.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check the muzzle and the front corners of the slide in inspect, since these spots lose the anodized colour first.
  • Look at whether the light blue edges and rear serrations form a clean line or already show breaks.
  • Compare the float within its grade, because a low-float Field-Tested copy can look close to Minimal Wear.
  • Check applied stickers and any name tag, as they change the look of the plain grey frame and the dark slide.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

  • Players who want an almost clean look without paying for the top grade.
  • Sticker crafters, since small marks disappear under the speckled texture.
  • A sensible balance between appearance and grade for everyday use.
