Skin overview

In Battle-Scarred the illustrated weasel and the brown leaf background are heavily scratched, and large areas of grey steel show through. The orange of the animal still gives the pistol its recognisable warm accent. This is the most affordable way to carry the Weasel design.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The slide carries the main image: an orange-brown weasel with detailed fur lines, its head turned toward the muzzle and its body running along the top. The background is dark brown covered in a cream lace of outlined leaves and small dotted flowers, which continues down the frame and the grip.

Large patches of grey steel cover the slide, and the weasel is heavily scratched with parts of its fur detail gone. The brown base and cream leaves survive only in fragments, especially on the grip. In game the pistol looks rough and worn, with the orange of the animal as the main remaining colour. Only the more protected areas keep a fairly clean pattern.

The whole float range of Souvenir Glock-18 | Weasel is 0–1; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–1 segment (55% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Warm browns, orange, gold and cream stickers blend with the weasel and the leaf lace. Placing them on the rear of the slide or the grip keeps the animal's head and body uncovered.

What to look at before you buy

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the condition of the weasel varies a lot inside one grade.
• Inspect the slide edges, the muzzle end and the top of the slide, which lose paint first.
• Look at whether the weasel's head and body are scratched, as damage there is the most visible.
• Note any applied stickers, name tag and whether the copy is StatTrak™ or Souvenir.
