M249 | Aztec covers the machine gun in olive and moss-green carvings modelled on ancient stonework, with a glyph mask on the receiver side. In Factory New the carved lines stay sharp and the green tones look even from muzzle to stock. This is the cleanest way to see the full relief exactly as the artwork intends.
Item type: machinegun. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.
Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Factory New
The receiver and top cover carry a dense olive and moss-green relief in the style of carved stone, with a large glyph mask on the side of the receiver. The handguard and stock continue the same carved bands, while the barrel, sights and bipod area stay dark gunmetal.
The relief is fully intact, with crisp lines on the receiver, handguard and stock. The mask glyph and the pale green magazine show no visible marks. In game the gun looks uniformly green and clean at any distance. Everything on the weapon reads as intended.
Factory New wear: float 0–0.07
The float of Souvenir M249 | Aztec ranges from 0 to 0.75; the Factory New quality covers 0–0.07 — 9% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
Souvenir M249 | Aztec belongs to The CS20 Collection, which holds 17 skins.
It drops from CS20 Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Gold, bronze and earthy brown stickers fit the carved-relic theme, as do muted greens that blend into the relief. The plain pale green magazine is the most visible flat surface and works well for a single accent sticker.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since a copy near the cleaner end shows noticeably less edge wear.
- Inspect the top cover edges and magazine corners, as these lose colour first on this finish.
- Look at the mask glyph on the receiver to see how sharp it stays on the copy you are buying.
- Check for applied stickers or a name tag, which can change how the copy fits your plans.
Who should buy Factory New
- Collectors who want the carved relief in its sharpest form.
- Sticker crafters who need a clean base around the magazine and receiver.
- The choice for buyers who want the design exactly as drawn.
