Show allAllSkin overview
M249 | Jungle DDPAT pairs a pixelated green camouflage with the plain olive stock and dark metal parts of the machinegun. In Field-Tested the pattern is still clearly readable, while the corners of the magazine box and the top cover start showing bare metal. The worn spots suit the military look of the finish rather than spoiling it.
Item type: machinegun. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear.
Appearance in Field-Tested
The receiver, top cover and handguard are covered in a digital camouflage of yellow-green, olive, light green and dark green square pixels. The same pattern wraps the box magazine, where its large flat sides show the pixel blocks most clearly.
The corners of the magazine box and the edges of the top cover show clear scuffs of grey metal. Raised parts of the receiver begin to lose small groups of pixels. The flat sides of the magazine and the handguard still carry most of the pattern. In game the camouflage reads well, with the wear visible mainly on the magazine.
Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of Souvenir M249 | Jungle DDPAT is 0.06–0.8; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (31% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir M249 | Jungle DDPAT belongs to The Alpha Collection, which holds 16 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
What it costs in each quality
Compared with the Field-Tested quality, the others go like this:
- Factory New — 3× dearer
- Well-Worn — 1% dearer
- Battle-Scarred — 1% dearer
The comparison uses our cheapest listing of each quality; where there is none, the market reference.
Among 7 skins of the M249 in the Consumer Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 2nd by price, counting from the dearest.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Olive, khaki, black and muted gold stickers blend with the jungle pixels without breaking the military look. The flat sides of the box magazine and the receiver are the most visible spots for placement. Bright neon colours stand out sharply against this green camouflage and suit only a deliberate contrast craft.
What to look at before you buy
- Look at the corners of the box magazine and the top cover, because they lose paint first.
- Compare float within the grade, as the skin's range starts inside Factory New and ends before the maximum.
- Check whether the copy is a Souvenir version, since both variants are listed for this skin.
- Review any applied stickers and name tag, as they change how the camouflage reads.
Who the Field-Tested quality suits
- Players who want a clear camouflage with a natural used look.
- Budget buyers looking for a readable pattern on the M249.
- Conclusion: a balanced everyday option.
