Souvenir M4A1-S | Briefing (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

Briefing is a calm, utilitarian finish: olive-grey surfaces printed with a topographical map and lifted by red details. In Field-Tested the base colour still carries the overall look, while the red rims and the front of the silencer begin to show scuffs. It keeps the military map character at a noticeably more relaxed grade.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The long silencer is olive-grey with faint map lines and a red rim at the muzzle end, while the exposed barrel is a dark steel-blue. The ribbed handguard carries the khaki map print, with red showing through between the ribs.

Scratches become visible on the front of the silencer, the red rims and the lower edge of the magazine. The raised ribs of the handguard start to lose some of the map print. The receiver sides and most of the stock still look clean, so the rifle keeps its overall look in game.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Red, black or olive stickers echo the existing palette and keep the military map look coherent. Placements on the receiver near the red patches tie the craft to the trim, while muted paper-style or map-like stickers suit the briefing theme.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the grade, since the red rims and silencer tip show the difference first.
• Look at the front of the silencer, which is the most visible worn area in first-person view.
• Inspect applied stickers and their condition, as they shape how the muted finish looks.
• Note whether a name tag is attached and if its wording fits the map theme.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

• Players who want the map theme for everyday use.
• Buyers who do not mind visible scuffs on the silencer.
• A practical middle grade for regular play.
