Skin overview

The skin reads as a cool, water-toned camo of navy and light blue-green patches spread over silencer, handguard, receiver and magazine. In Field-Tested the overall look stays intact, while edges and protruding parts start to show small spots of bare metal. Because the float range ends low, this grade is only lightly worn compared with Field-Tested on other skins.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The silencer, handguard, receiver, magazine and stock are all wrapped in the same hydrographic camo: large navy and royal blue areas broken by irregular pale mint and light blue spots. The exposed barrel section between silencer and handguard stays a plain dark blue-grey, which separates the two patterned halves of the rifle.

Small patches of grey metal appear on the silencer tip, the carry handle, the lower edge of the magazine and the stock corners. The colours lose a little saturation, but the camo pattern remains fully readable. In game the rifle still looks blue and tidy, with wear visible mostly on inspect. The large flat areas of the silencer, handguard and receiver stay largely clean.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.22

The float of Souvenir M4A1-S | Bright Water ranges from 0.1 to 0.22; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.22 — 58% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Bravo Collection with 15 skins in total.

The source is Operation Bravo Case (on sale since Sep 20, 2013).

Price by quality

Compared with the Field-Tested quality, the others go like this: Minimal Wear — 3.1× dearer. Based on the cheapest SkinOut.gg listing of each quality, otherwise on the market reference.

Among 10 skins of the M4A1-S in the Restricted grade and this quality, this skin ranks 7th by price, counting from the dearest.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Blue, white and silver stickers blend with the camo and keep the cool palette. Holographic or foil stickers with blue tones suit the receiver, while a single warm accent such as gold can contrast with the navy base.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the clean end look noticeably fresher.
  • Inspect the silencer tip and the carry handle, as these parts lose paint first.
  • Look at the lower edge of the magazine, which is visible in first person.
  • Check stickers and name tag, and whether the copy is StatTrak™ or Souvenir.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

  • Players looking for an affordable blue M4A1-S that still looks neat in game.
  • Budget buyers, since wear in this grade stays light.
  • A sensible entry option with little visual compromise.
