Souvenir M4A1-S | Fade (Minimal Wear)

Skin overview

This silenced M4 carries a warm-to-cool chrome gradient: amber and gold up front, crimson and magenta in the middle, a purple tint near the stock. Minimal Wear on this finish has a very narrow range, so copies sit close to Factory New and keep almost all of their shine. It is a way to own the same colour scheme at a lower grade with differences that are hard to spot outside close inspection.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Airbrushed: a coloured coating with an airbrushed design on top; the coating holds while the design fades with wear.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The suppressor and exposed barrel are a polished gold that turns orange toward the front sight. The ribbed handguard and the front of the receiver shift into deep red and pink, while the carry handle and the rear of the receiver move into magenta and violet.

Minimal Wear adds small thin spots in the paint on the most exposed points: the edges of the handguard ribs, the top of the carry handle and the corners of the magazine. These spots let a little chrome show through but do not break the gradient. At normal viewing distance in game the rifle looks practically the same as Factory New. The suppressor, the receiver sides and the colour transitions stay clean.
