Show allAllSkin overview
Field-Tested is where the green finish starts to show its history: grey metal appears on the handguard ribs, the carry handle and the front of the suppressor. The overall glitch look and the strong colour still carry the skin, which keeps it recognisable in any match.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The suppressor, ribbed handguard, upper receiver, carry handle and magazine are painted in a bright yellow-green pearlescent coat with a soft sheen. Small orange and red marks, like corrupted pixels, sit on the suppressor, the receiver side and the magazine.
Visible grey patches show on the suppressor front, the handguard ribs and the carry handle. The magazine edges start to lose paint, while the receiver sides and most marks remain readable. In game the wear is noticeable on the suppressor and handguard but the rifle still looks bright overall.
Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of Souvenir M4A1-S | Fatal Glitch is 0–1; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (23% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir M4A1-S | Fatal Glitch belongs to The Spy Tech Collection, which holds 17 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Stickers in orange, red or black echo the glitch marks and sit well on the bright green receiver. Holographic or green-toned stickers keep the acid look consistent, while placing one accent sticker near the magazine well ties into the marks there.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end of a grade keep noticeably more paint on the suppressor and handguard.
- Look at how the orange and red marks are placed on the suppressor and magazine of a specific copy, because their position can differ between items.
- Inspect the suppressor tip, handguard ribs and carry handle first, as these parts lose paint before the rest.
- On Souvenir copies, check the applied stickers, since they cannot be removed and change the overall look.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who use the rifle every match and accept visible wear on the suppressor.
- Buyers who want the bright colour at a moderate cost.
- A practical everyday option.
