Show allAllSkin overview
In Battle-Scarred the navy shred camo is heavily scratched on the muzzle, handguard, magazine and stock edges, giving the rifle a rough, weathered character. The float range of this skin stops short of the most extreme wear, so even the worst grade keeps a readable blue-and-cream pattern. This is the cheapest way to carry the finish.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The hydrographic finish covers the receiver, handguard, barrel, magazine and stock with a blue tiger camo: torn pale cream streaks over a mix of navy and slate blue. The carry handle, front sight and pistol grip stay in a plain muted sage grey, which frames the busy pattern and keeps the silhouette readable.
The muzzle, handguard edges, magazine and stock corners are heavily scratched, and wear is spread over the receiver as well. Because this skin's float range ends before the most extreme values, large parts of the pattern remain readable. In game the rifle looks rough and weathered, with blue and cream still dominant. The flatter central panels keep the most colour.
Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.6
The float of Souvenir M4A4 | Naval Shred Camo ranges from 0 to 0.6; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.6 — 25% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Ascent Collection with 28 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Price by quality
By price this skin is 3rd of 7 skins Industrial Grade M4A4 in this quality (the first being the dearest).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Stickers in navy, steel blue, white or cream match the camo and blend into the pattern. A single gold or holo sticker on the receiver stands out well against the dark blue base. Placing stickers on the plain sage grey areas near the grip keeps them readable without fighting the streaks.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low-float Field-Tested can look close to Minimal Wear.
- Look at the muzzle, handguard edges and magazine on the inspect screen, as these parts show wear first.
- The hydrographic pattern shifts only slightly between copies, so pattern placement rarely matters for this skin.
- Souvenir copies exist and come with stickers already applied, so check whether you want them on the rifle.
Who should buy Battle-Scarred
- Budget players looking for the cheapest entry into this finish.
- Fans of a rough, heavily scratched look that still keeps its colours.
- Conclusion: an inexpensive way to carry the skin with a readable pattern.
