M4A4 | Poly Mag is a tan-and-dark rifle with a faux-clear magazine, and in Battle-Scarred it takes on a heavily used appearance. Large patches of the tan paint are worn from the stock, grip and handguard, and the magazine pattern looks patchy. It is the most affordable way to carry the design, with a rough, worn-in feel.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Battle-Scarred
The receiver, barrel and flash hider stay in a dark olive-grey metal tone with visible markings on the side of the receiver. The handguard rail covers, the pistol grip and the adjustable stock are painted in a warm tan with a subtle textured surface.
Large areas of tan paint are gone from the handguard, grip, stock and magazine, leaving uneven patches over the dark base. The magazine pattern becomes broken and the painted rounds are only partly readable. In game the rifle looks rough and heavily used from every angle. Some tan remains in recessed spots, so the colour scheme is still recognisable.
Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–1
The float of Souvenir M4A4 | Poly Mag ranges from 0 to 1; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–1 — 55% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
Souvenir M4A4 | Poly Mag belongs to The Recoil Collection, which holds 17 skins.
It drops from Recoil Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Tan, brown, olive and black stickers keep the military-equipment look consistent on the dark receiver. Muted gold or orange accents echo the magazine colour without competing with it.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the edges of the rail covers and magazine ribs show the difference first.
- Look closely at the magazine on the inspect screen, because the faux-clear effect is the main feature of the skin.
- Check the grip and stock corners on worn copies, where the tan paint thins out early.
- Note any stickers or name tag already applied and whether they fit the tan colour scheme.
Who should buy Battle-Scarred
- Budget entry for players who simply want the M4A4 out of its default look.
- Fans of rough, heavily weathered finishes.
- The cheapest way to own the skin, with a deliberately battered look.
