Skin overview

The skin pairs a calm olive-drab body with fine light line work and a yellow star motif placed above the magazine well. In Minimal Wear any scuffs sit on the muzzle and outer edges, so the star and the receiver look practically the same as on the cleanest copies. For most players this grade gives the full look of the finish without paying for the narrow top grade.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The whole rifle is covered in an olive-khaki spray-paint base, darker and greyer on the receiver and lighter on the handguard and stock. Thin light grey swirling lines run across the receiver, magazine and grip, giving the surface a faint engraved texture.

Small light scuffs may appear on the muzzle tip and the sharpest edges of the carry handle and handguard. The receiver, the star and the magazine sides remain clean. In game the difference from Factory New is barely noticeable, since the muted olive base hides minor marks well. Low-float copies look practically identical to the top grade.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir M4A4 | Zirka is 0.06–0.42; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (22% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Yellow, gold and black stickers tie in with the star emblem, while muted olive or brown ones blend with the base. Placing them along the handguard keeps the star on the receiver clear.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within its grade, since the Factory New window is narrow and low-float Minimal Wear can look almost the same.
• Look at the yellow star on the receiver in the inspect view, because on worn copies it is the detail that decides how the skin reads.
• Inspect the muzzle, carry handle and magazine base, which lose paint first.
• Check applied stickers and name tags, as bright stickers can compete with the single yellow accent.
