Skin overview

The float range of this skin ends early, so Battle-Scarred copies sit only at the mildest end of that grade. The Norse ring pattern remains recognisable, while the edges and raised parts of the receiver are clearly worn to metal. It is the most rugged version of the copper finish rather than a ruined one.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The finish covers the upper receiver from front to rear: a copper-brown base with horizontal bands of gold interlocking rings and loops, plus brighter gold-yellow accents at the front end and rear of the body. The rings run in repeating rows along the sides, so the pattern looks like a braided band.

Edges, corners and the top ridge are clearly worn to metal, and wear spreads further onto the sides of the receiver. Since the range stops early, the damage stays at the lighter end of this grade. In game the copper and gold scheme is still recognisable. The middle of the side panels shows the ring pattern most clearly.

The whole float range of Souvenir MAC-10 | Copper Borre is 0–0.5; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.5 segment (10% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Norse Collection with 18 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Gold, copper, brown and black stickers blend with the warm palette and the Norse knotwork. Placing them on the flat sides of the receiver works best, while bright neon colours tend to clash with the ornament.

• Check where the float sits within the grade, since lower floats keep the receiver edges cleaner.
• Inspect the top ridge and front corners of the receiver, as these lose the copper layer first.
• On Souvenir copies, look at the applied stickers and how they sit on the pattern.
