Souvenir MAC-10 | Fade (Minimal Wear)

Skin overview

This is the same orange-to-violet gradient on the MAC-10 receiver, with the grey hardware left in plain metal. The finish has a narrow float range, so Minimal Wear sits right next to Factory New and the difference comes down to faint marks that are hard to spot in a match. It suits a buyer who wants the full Fade look and does not need the cleanest grade.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Anodized Airbrushed: a coloured coating with an airbrushed design on top; the coating holds while the design fades with wear.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The gradient covers only the boxy receiver: orange and gold near the muzzle end, red and magenta in the middle, deep purple and blue toward the rear sight and stock mount. The chrome base gives the transparent paint a metallic sheen, so the colours shift with the light along the ridges and side grooves.

Light scuffs may appear on the top edge and front corners of the receiver, where the paint is thinnest. The gradient itself stays intact across the sides, and the colours keep their saturation. In game at normal distance it looks practically the same as Factory New. The grey barrel, magazine and grip show no meaningful change, since they carry no paint.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.08

The whole float range of Souvenir MAC-10 | Fade is 0–0.08; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.08 segment (12% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir MAC-10 | Fade belongs to The Chop Shop Collection, which holds 16 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Holographic or foil stickers in gold, pink or violet tones match the gradient and its metallic sheen. Placing them on the side of the receiver keeps them inside the colour zone, and matching each sticker to the shade beneath it gives a tidy result.

• Check the float within the range if you care about the cleanest top edge.
