Skin overview

Lapis Gator puts a blue reptile-scale pattern on the MAC-10 receiver against plain metal lower parts. Because the skin's float range stops halfway, even Battle-Scarred copies sit at the mild end of that grade, with heavy edge wear but the blue still dominant. It is the entry point for players who want the colour at the lowest cost.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The receiver and the top cover carry the whole pattern: dense alligator scales in shades of deep and bright blue with darker lines between them. The barrel stub stays dark, while the grip, the long magazine and the folding wire stock are left in grey metal, and the sling remains a light beige strap.

The edges, top and front corners are heavily stripped to grey metal, and patches reach into the sides. Since the range ends early, a good part of the scaled blue survives on the flat panels. In game it reads as a well-used blue MAC-10 rather than a bare one.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.5

The float of Souvenir MAC-10 | Lapis Gator ranges from 0 to 0.5; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.5 — 10% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Wildfire Collection with 16 skins in total.

The source is Operation Wildfire Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Gold, silver and white stickers stand out cleanly against the deep blue scales. Blue or teal holo stickers create a tonal craft, while a single bright yellow or orange sticker on the receiver side gives strong contrast.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within its grade, since lower values keep the receiver edges cleaner.
  • Look at the front corners and top rail of the receiver, which lose colour first.
  • Pattern placement matters little here because the scales cover the receiver evenly.
  • Check applied stickers and any name tag, as they change how the blue block reads.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

  • Budget entry players who want the skin at the lowest cost.
  • Those who like a heavily used look that still keeps the blue.
  • Conclusion: the cheapest option that remains recognisable.
