Skin overview

The recognisable part of this MAC-10 is the screaming skull with cyan lightning across a pink and purple body. In Minimal Wear the artwork still looks complete, with only small marks that appear on edges when you inspect the weapon closely. In hand it reads almost the same as a cleaner copy.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The receiver is painted hot pink with a dark purple top band carrying thin pink stripes, and the side shows a white screaming skull framed by cyan lightning bolts. Below the skull the grip area has a dark jacket with a white cross shape and small gold studs.

Light marks may appear on the muzzle tip and the upper edges of the receiver. The skull, the lightning and the magazine dots are untouched. At normal distance the difference from Factory New is hard to see. Lower floats in this grade look practically clean.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The float of Souvenir MAC-10 | Neon Rider ranges from 0 to 0.45; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 18% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

The skin’s collection is The Chroma 2 Collection with 15 skins in total.

It drops from Chroma 2 Case (on sale since Apr 15, 2015).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Pink, cyan, purple and holographic stickers match the neon palette. Place them on the receiver away from the skull so the main artwork stays visible.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the grade, since lower values keep the muzzle and receiver edges cleaner.
• Inspect the skull on the side, as it is the main detail of the artwork.
• Look at the magazine base and trigger guard, which lose paint first.
• Make sure stickers or a name tag fit the neon look if they are already applied.
