Show allAllSkin overview
Video Cam is a muted, technical-looking skin: grey plastic tones, ribbed grips and small camcorder markings rather than bright artwork. In Field-Tested the edges start to show scuffs, which suits the idea of a camera that has been carried around and used. The overall shape and colour scheme stay easy to read.
Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The receiver is painted light grey like a camera housing, with dark grey ribbed strips along the top and a vented panel at the rear. On the side sit a small red record light, a mode switch, red and yellow connector ports, fine labels and a logo near the back.
Scuffs become visible along the top edges, front corners and the bottom of the magazine. The fine labels may look slightly faded, while the red and yellow ports still stand out. In game the camera look is intact, with a lightly used feel. Flat side surfaces mostly keep their paint.
Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of Souvenir MAC-10 | Video Cam is 0–1; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (23% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Spy Tech Collection with 17 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Red, black or white stickers echo the record button and grey housing and keep the camera theme coherent. Placements on the flat side of the receiver near the controls work well, while busy multicoloured stickers tend to clash with the restrained palette.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since chipping on the receiver edges grows noticeably toward the dirtier end.
- Inspect the side panel to see whether the record light, ports and labels are still readable.
- Look at the magazine base and front corners, which lose paint first.
- For Souvenir copies, review the applied stickers, as they cannot be removed without scraping.
Who the Field-Tested quality suits
- Players who want the camera theme for everyday matches.
- Buyers who like a lightly used, realistic gadget feel.
- A practical pick for regular play.
