Souvenir MAG-7 | Heaven Guard (Minimal Wear)

Skin overview

This skin pairs a subtly patterned grey surface with red slashes and a cream-coloured pair of wings on the side of the MAG-7. Minimal Wear keeps that contrast almost intact, with only light scuffing on edges that is hard to spot in game.

Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The receiver, magazine and lower body are covered in a mottled grey hydrographic pattern with a slightly stony texture. The pump grip under the barrel is painted red, and red rectangular slashes run along the top of the receiver with red splashes near the rear.

Small scuffs may appear on the front edge of the pump grip and the corners of the top slashes. The wing decal stays intact, with at most faint marks on its outline. The grey base hides light wear well, so the difference from Factory New is barely visible in game.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The float of Souvenir MAG-7 | Heaven Guard ranges from 0 to 0.4; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 20% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir MAG-7 | Heaven Guard belongs to The Phoenix Collection, which holds 13 skins.

The source is Operation Phoenix Weapon Case (on sale since Feb 19, 2014).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Red, white or grey stickers match the palette and the angel theme of the wing decal. Placements on the receiver away from the wing keep the main detail visible.

What to check before buying

• Check the wing decal on the receiver, since it is the main detail and fades noticeably at higher floats.
• Look at the red pump grip edges and top slashes, which are the first parts to lose paint.
• Compare the float position within the wear range, as low values keep the red cleaner.
• Check for stickers or a name tag already applied to the item.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

• Players who want a nearly clean look without paying for the top grade.
• CT shotgun users who play the MAG-7 regularly.
• A sensible balance of look and cost.
