Show allAllSkin overview
Popdog turns the MAG-7 into a piece of rolling stock: riveted panels, rust patches and a faded teal section with the Pop Dog graphic. In Field-Tested the painted weathering starts to mix with real wear on the edges, and the two read as one aged surface. For a skin built around grime, this grade loses less character than most finishes do.
Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The receiver is styled as the side of a train car, with panel lines, rivets and vents in olive and ochre, rust-brown patches and a teal section bearing the Pop Dog graphic. The pump grip under the barrel is a greyish olive with darker, grimy shading, while the barrel and its shroud stay dark with a slight metallic sheen.
Bare metal shows on the pump edges, the trigger guard, the top edges of the receiver and the base of the magazine. The teal Pop Dog section can pick up light scratches but stays readable. In game the gun looks somewhat more weathered than cleaner grades, which suits the theme. The centre of the receiver still carries most of the detail.
Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of Souvenir MAG-7 | Popdog is 0–0.8; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (29% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir MAG-7 | Popdog belongs to The CS20 Collection, which holds 17 skins.
The source is CS20 Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Muted stickers in olive, brown, rust or teal sit naturally on the train-car panels and keep the weathered mood. Holo or bright stickers work as contrast if placed away from the Pop Dog graphic so the logo stays visible.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low float in a worn grade keeps the receiver graphic noticeably cleaner.
- Look at the teal Pop Dog section on the receiver, as it is the main detail of the design and the first thing lost on heavily worn copies.
- Inspect the pump edge and the bottom of the magazine, which wear first and show bare metal clearly.
- Check for applied stickers and a name tag, because they change how the receiver side looks.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- CT players who want the full train-car look on a reasonable budget.
- Buyers who like real wear blending with the painted rust.
- Conclusion: a balanced grade that keeps the character of the skin.
