Show allAllSkin overview
Sonar is recognised by its grey body and the teal panels on the side of the receiver, broken up by thin markings. In Field-Tested the paint starts to give way on edges and raised parts, which suits the weathered, utilitarian theme. The turquoise accents still stand out against the darker metal.
Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Field-Tested
The receiver is finished in grey metal with dark turquoise panels on its side, covered in thin lines, small rings and stencilled markings. The barrel and muzzle stay dark, while the large foregrip is a plain matte grey.
Wear spreads along the receiver edges, foregrip corners and the magazine, where the colour starts to thin. The stencilled details on the side panels lose some sharpness. In game the turquoise is still visible, but the gun looks more weathered overall.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The float of Souvenir MAG-7 | Sonar ranges from 0 to 0.45; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 51% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Glove Collection with 17 skins in total.
It drops from Glove Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Turquoise, teal, white and silver stickers match the side panels and grey metal. Placing them on the receiver near the stencilled panels keeps the composition calm and coherent.
What to look at before you buy
- Look at the float position within the wear range, since lower values keep the turquoise panels cleaner.
- Check the receiver edges and magazine base, as these lose colour first.
- See whether the side panel markings are still sharp on Field-Tested and Well-Worn copies.
- Check applied stickers and any name tag if they matter to you.
Who the Field-Tested quality suits
- Players who like a weathered, utilitarian look.
- Those who want an affordable MAG-7 with visible colour.
- A practical pick for everyday play.
