Skin overview

This Acid Wash keeps the same black, blue and brass scheme, with the etched pattern still dominant over the whole weapon. At Minimal Wear any marks are tiny and sit on edges, so in hand it looks almost identical to a fresh copy at a lower grade.

Item type: smg. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The long integrated suppressor is coated in dark metallic blue with a blotchy acid-etched pattern of lighter and brownish patches. The handguard is black with a fine ribbed texture, while the receiver carries the same etched blue as the suppressor.

Small specks may appear on the suppressor muzzle and the sharpest receiver edges. The magazine, grip and handguard stay clean. At normal distance the difference from Factory New is hard to notice. The etched pattern keeps its full contrast.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir MP5-SD | Acid Wash is 0–0.68; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (12% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir MP5-SD | Acid Wash belongs to The Shattered Web Collection, which holds 17 skins.

It drops from Shattered Web Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Gold, brass or holo stickers in blue and copper tones match the hardware and the etched coat. Placing them on the receiver near the brass fittings keeps the scheme consistent.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since lower floats keep more blue on the suppressor and receiver edges.
  • Look at the suppressor muzzle and magazine corners in the inspect view, as they lose the coat first.
  • Make sure any applied stickers or name tag fit the dark blue and brass scheme.
  • Compare StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions if a counter or souvenir status matters to you.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

  • Players who want a near-clean look without paying for the top grade.
  • Crafters who accept tiny edge marks under stickers.
  • A sensible balance of appearance and cost.
