Show allAllSkin overview
This MP5-SD finish is built on contrast between black metal and muted blue, with a ribbed texture along the suppressor and a white chevron on the lower receiver. In Minimal Wear the scheme looks practically untouched from the player's view. It is a way to get the clean look without paying for the top grade.
Item type: smg. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Minimal Wear
The integrated suppressor is painted steel blue with a ribbed section, small white markings and a bare silver muzzle end. The upper receiver is black with a thin red line and light lettering along the side, while the lower receiver carries blue panels with a white chevron and an orange-red trigger.
Tiny scuffs may sit on the muzzle end of the suppressor and on the sharpest edges. The blue panels, markings and red accents remain intact. At normal distance it is very hard to tell apart from Factory New.
Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15
The whole float range of Souvenir MP5-SD | Statics is 0–1; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (8% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir MP5-SD | Statics belongs to The Gallery Collection, which holds 17 skins.
The source is Gallery Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Blue, white and black stickers blend with the scheme, while small red or orange accents echo the receiver line and the trigger. Placements on the black receiver stand out best against the dark background.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low float in a grade keeps the suppressor noticeably cleaner.
- Look at the muzzle end and front of the suppressor first, as that is where the blue paint wears off earliest.
- Inspect the grip and stock edges in the preview to judge how much blue is left.
- Note any applied stickers or name tag and whether they fit your plans for the weapon.
Who should buy Minimal Wear
- Players who want a near-clean look for less than the top grade.
- Sticker crafts where tiny edge marks do not matter.
- A sensible middle ground between appearance and cost.
