Show allAllSkin overview
Abyssal Apparition combines orange paint, a ghostly skull and a falling figure in a glitched, double-exposed style. In Battle-Scarred large areas of the receiver and magazine show bare grey metal, and the skull and silhouette lose much of their detail. What remains is a rough, scuffed orange look that fits the dark theme of the artwork.
Item type: smg. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Battle-Scarred
The upper receiver and the top rail are painted bright orange with dark curved streaks, each edged by a red and cyan offset that imitates a glitched image. Below the ejection area the colour shifts to pale tones, and a white skull with the same colour split sits on the magazine well.
Large areas of the top rail, receiver edges and magazine are down to grey metal. The skull keeps only its general outline, and the falling figure may be barely visible depending on the float. In game the skin reads as heavily scuffed orange with grey patches. Only the more protected central areas still show solid colour.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–1
The float of Souvenir MP7 | Abyssal Apparition ranges from 0 to 1; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–1 — 55% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Dreams & Nightmares Collection with 17 skins in total.
It drops from Dreams & Nightmares Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Stickers with red, cyan or black accents echo the glitch outlines and sit well on the orange receiver. Holo or foil stickers in cool tones add contrast without hiding the skull, so it is better to keep the area around the magazine well free.
What to look at before you buy
- Check the float position within the wear range, since this skin can be bought anywhere from a perfect to a heavily worn condition.
- Look at the top rail and the front edge of the receiver, where the orange paint breaks first.
- Inspect the magazine and the skull on the magazine well, because the fine artwork there loses detail quickly on worn copies.
- Note any stickers or name tag already applied, as they change the look of the orange receiver.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
- Players who want the cheapest way to own this finish.
- Fans of heavily scuffed looks that suit the dark theme of the artwork.
- Conclusion: for those who value the theme over clean detail.
