Skin overview

Army Recon turns the MP7 into a camouflaged SMG with thick, loosely sprayed patches of sand, green and rust colours. In Field-Tested the camo is still fully recognisable, while edges of the rail, sights and magazine start to show dark metal. The scuffs suit the improvised military theme rather than spoiling it.

Item type: smg. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The receiver, top rail and sights are covered in overlapping soft-edged blotches of sand-yellow, olive green and rust-brown, sprayed without a strict pattern. The same camouflage continues onto the front grip, the long magazine and the folding stock, so the whole weapon reads as one piece.

Dark metal shows along the rail, the sights, the muzzle end and the bottom of the magazine. Light scuffing appears on the front grip and the stock edges. In game the camouflage is still clearly visible, with wear noticeable mainly when inspecting the weapon. The sides of the receiver keep most of their paint.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir MP7 | Army Recon is 0.06–0.8; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (31% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Earthy tones such as olive, tan, brown and muted gold blend with the camouflage, while a single matte black or dark sticker on the receiver side keeps the military look. Bright neon colours tend to clash with the soft spray-painted patches.

• Look at the float position within the wear range, since the edges of the rail, sights and magazine show the difference first.
• The camouflage has no special patterns worth paying extra for, so compare copies by wear rather than by pattern.
