Souvenir MP7 | Asterion (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

Asterion is recognisable by its labyrinth stencil: bright teal paths winding over cobalt blue on the receiver, grip and magazine. In Field-Tested the maze is still fully readable, but the raised rail, sights and edges start to show grey metal through the paint. The worn spots fit the sprayed, stencilled style, so the gun looks used rather than damaged.

Item type: smg. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The receiver and the upper rail are painted cobalt blue with a stencilled isometric labyrinth in teal and turquoise, outlined by dark navy gaps. The same maze continues onto the front vertical grip, the pistol grip and the long magazine, where the zigzag paths run along the length of the part.

Grey metal shows clearly on the sights, rail teeth, muzzle and along the edges of the magazine and grips. Some fading and chipping reaches the borders of the stencil near those edges. The central receiver panel, the sides of the magazine and the stock still carry a clean, readable maze. In game the gun looks used but the blue and teal pattern dominates.

Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir MP7 | Asterion is 0–0.55; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (42% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Gods and Monsters Collection with 14 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

What it costs in each quality

Among 9 skins of the MP7 in the Consumer Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 5th by price, counting from the dearest.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Teal, turquoise, holo blue and silver stickers blend with the maze, while gold or white ones stand out cleanly against the dark blue base. Placing them on the flat receiver panel keeps the labyrinth on the magazine and grips visible.

What to look at before you buy

• Look at where the float sits within the wear range, since a low float in a worn grade keeps noticeably more of the maze on the edges.
• Check the sights, rail and magazine edges on the inspect screen, because these parts lose paint first.
• On Souvenir copies, check which stickers are applied and where, as they change the look of the receiver.
• Pay attention to any stickers or name tag already on the item and whether they match the blue and teal scheme.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

• Players looking for a balanced choice where the maze is still fully readable.
• Those who like light edge wear that fits the spray-paint style.
• Conclusion: the most practical everyday grade of Asterion.
