Souvenir MP7 | Prey (Battle-Scarred)

Skin overview

The rust-striped spray-paint finish of MP7 | Prey shows its heaviest damage in Battle-Scarred. The float range ends shortly after this grade begins, so even the worst copies stay close to Well-Worn and keep the stripes recognisable. It is the most weathered version of the design.

Item type: smg. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The base colour across the receiver, front grip, pistol grip and magazine is a pale grey-beige with a slightly textured, dusty tone. Over it run rust-brown zebra stripes, mostly diagonal, that wrap continuously across the top of the receiver, the side rail area and down onto the magazine and grips.

Wear covers all the edges, the top of the receiver, the grips and much of the magazine, with larger areas of bare metal. Because the float range stops early in this grade, damage goes only slightly beyond Well-Worn. In game the gun looks heavily weathered, but the brown stripes are still visible on the receiver sides. The receiver flanks remain the cleanest part.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.48

The whole float range of Souvenir MP7 | Prey is 0–0.48; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.48 segment (6% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Among 7 skins of the MP7 in the Consumer Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 6th by price, counting from the dearest.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Earthy browns, rust, beige and matte black stickers blend with the striped palette for a calm hunting theme. A single darker or holo sticker on the receiver side stands out well against the pale base without fighting the stripes.

What to look at before you buy

• Check where the float sits within its grade, since a low-float Field-Tested can look close to Minimal Wear on this forgiving palette.
• Look at the top rail, receiver edges and magazine base, as these show chipping first.
• Souvenir copies come with stickers already applied, so make sure they fit the look you want.
• Check for a name tag and applied stickers, which change how the item presents in inspect.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

• Players who want the most weathered look of this skin.
• Collectors of heavily worn copies, since this grade stays close to Well-Worn.
• A choice for those who value character over clean paint.
