Skin overview

The float range of this skin stops early, so even Battle-Scarred copies are not fully stripped. The grey camo carries heavy scratching and the orange parts are worn through in places, giving the MP7 a rough field look. It is the cheapest entry to the design for those who like a weathered weapon.

Item type: smg. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The receiver, stock, pistol grip and magazine are covered in grey urban camouflage made of angular light and charcoal patches. Bright orange runs along the top rail and the upper edge of the receiver, with a matching orange trigger, trigger guard, a stripe near the stock and a mark at the top of the magazine.

Heavy scratching covers the receiver, stock and magazine, and the orange accents are worn through in several places. Because the float range ends early, the camo is damaged but not removed entirely. In game the MP7 looks rough and dull, with the orange reduced to fragments. Only the more sheltered flat areas keep a fairly even pattern.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.5

The float of Souvenir MP7 | Urban Hazard ranges from 0 to 0.5; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.5 — 10% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir MP7 | Urban Hazard belongs to The Breakout Collection, which holds 14 skins.

It drops from Operation Breakout Weapon Case (on sale since Jun 23, 2014).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Orange, black and grey stickers match the scheme best, especially holo or matte designs in those tones. Placements on the receiver side above the grip keep them in view without breaking the orange rail line.

What to check before buying

  • Look at the orange top rail first, since it is the most visible part and loses paint early.
  • Check the trigger guard and magazine base, where scratches on orange are easy to spot.
  • Compare the float position within the wear grade, as low floats look noticeably cleaner on the orange edges.
  • Check for applied stickers or a name tag, which can add to or distract from the clean grey and orange scheme.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

  • Players looking for the cheapest entry to this design.
  • Fans of a weathered weapon who do not mind fragmented orange.
  • The entry option for a rough field look.
