Skin overview

Battle-Scarred is barely reachable on this skin, because the float range ends just past the start of this grade. As a result, these copies look close to the most worn Well-Worn ones, with patchy stripes over the dark base rather than a fully stripped finish. It is the lowest-cost entry to MP9 | Dart.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The whole MP9 is finished in a dark gunmetal grey, from the receiver and short barrel shroud to the grip, foregrip, magazine and folding stock. The pattern sits mainly on the upper receiver and its sides: thin light grey stripes arranged in nested chevrons that point toward the muzzle.

Wear is a step heavier than on Well-Worn, with the stripes patchy along the whole receiver and scuffs on grips and magazine. Because the range stops early in this grade, the finish is never fully stripped. In game the weapon still shows recognisable chevron fragments on its sides. The stock and the centre of the side panels keep the most paint.

The float of Souvenir MP9 | Dart ranges from 0 to 0.46; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.46 — 2% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Monochrome, silver or holo stickers match the grey chevrons, while a single red or orange accent stands out well against the dark body. Placing stickers on the side of the receiver along the direction of the arrows keeps the composition tidy.

What to look at before you buy

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end of a grade keep noticeably more of the stripes.
• Look at the top edge of the receiver and the area around the muzzle, where the chevrons fade first.
• Pattern placement changes little on this finish, so condition matters more than the pattern seed.
• Check applied stickers and name tags, as they can change how the muted grey design reads.
