Skin overview

Nexus combines silver, black and blue in a reserved, technical style. In Battle-Scarred much of the silver line work is worn away, and the weapon reads as dark, rough metal with traces of the original design and a faded blue stripe.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The receiver is covered in dark grey metallic paint with fine geometric lines inlaid in silver along its upper surface and sides. A narrow vertical blue stripe crosses the front of the receiver just behind the muzzle, giving the only strong colour accent.

Most of the silver paint and inlaid lines are gone, leaving dark, uneven metal across the receiver, grips and stock. The blue stripe survives only as a faded, patchy band. In game the weapon reads as a dark, rough MP9 with fragments of the design, and only the most sheltered spots keep some of the original finish.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–1

The float of Souvenir MP9 | Nexus ranges from 0 to 1; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–1 — 55% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Fever Collection with 17 skins in total.

It drops from Fever Case.

Price by quality

Among 6 skins of the MP9 in the Mil-Spec Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 2nd by price, counting from the dearest.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Blue, silver and holographic stickers match the palette and echo the blue stripe. Monochrome or dark designs placed on the receiver side keep the restrained look, while one bright accent near the stripe works better than a full row of colourful stickers.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within its wear, since a low float in a grade keeps more of the silver line work.
  • Look at the blue stripe and the top rail edge, as they show wear earliest and define the look of the skin.
  • Inspect the grips and stock tips, where the silver paint goes first on worn copies.
  • Note any stickers, name tag, StatTrak™ or Souvenir status, as they change both the look and the value of a specific copy.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

  • Players who want the lowest-cost entry into this skin.
  • Fans of a rough, heavily used look on a dark weapon.
  • A budget pick that keeps only traces of the original design.
