Skin overview

Even heavily worn, this Negev is recognised by its blue and white zebra stripe decals and dark blue barrel. Battle-Scarred gives the pattern a rough, weathered look, with bare patches on the edges that suit a used machine gun.

Item type: machinegun. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The receiver, top cover and handguard are covered in a dazzle pattern of white and dark blue stripes arranged in angular blocks, with thin red accents scattered along the body. The barrel and muzzle are kept dark blue, giving the front a calmer look against the busy middle.

Large worn patches cover the edges and raised parts, and the decals are broken on the magazine and stock. The white is dulled across the body and the barrel finish is heavily scratched. From a distance the gun still reads as striped, though the pattern looks rough and uneven.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.65

The whole float range of Souvenir Negev | Dazzle is 0.1–0.65; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.65 segment (36% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Gamma 2 Collection with 17 skins in total.

The source is Gamma 2 Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in white, dark blue or red match the skin's palette and blend with the stripes. Solid, simple designs stand out better against the busy pattern than detailed multicolour ones.

What to look at before you buy

  • Look at where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end keep brighter white stripes.
  • Check the muzzle and the top cover edges, which show wear first.
  • Inspect the corners of the box magazine and the stock edges for bare patches.
  • Check applied stickers and the name tag, as they change how the busy pattern reads.

Who should buy Battle-Scarred

  • Budget entry for players trying the skin.
  • Those who like a rough, worn machine gun look.
  • Conclusion: the cheapest way to get the Dazzle pattern.
