Skin overview

In Field-Tested the tan Negev starts to look like equipment that has been used. Chips along the muzzle, top rail and stock edges show darker metal, which adds texture to an otherwise uniform colour. From normal distance it still reads as a sand-coloured machine gun.

Item type: machinegun. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Well-Worn.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The receiver, barrel shroud, handguard and folding stock are painted in one matte tan shade with no pattern. The muzzle device, top rail and sights carry the same sand colour, while smaller hardware, the feed chute and the ammo box stay dark grey and khaki, framed by tan panels.

Chips become visible on the muzzle, top rail, sight posts and stock corners, showing dark metal. Receiver edges begin to lose paint in small spots. Large flat surfaces like the receiver sides and handguard are still mostly clean. In game it reads as a used tan gun with light edge wear.

Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir Negev | Raw Ceramic is 0–0.75; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (31% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Boreal Collection with 29 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

What it costs in each quality

Taking Field-Tested as the baseline:

Based on the cheapest SkinOut.gg listing of each quality, otherwise on the market reference.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

The plain tan surface takes almost any sticker, but black, brown, olive and gold designs blend into the desert tone best. Bright red or teal stickers create a strong contrast on the receiver side. The flat receiver panel and the stock are the most visible spots.

What to check before buying

  • On a solid-colour finish the float decides the look, so check where the copy sits within its wear grade.
  • Look at the muzzle, top rail and stock corners in the inspect view, since paint chips show there first.
  • There is no pattern to hunt, so pay only for float, stickers or a name tag.
  • StatTrak™ does not exist for this skin, while Souvenir copies do and usually carry stickers already applied.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

  • Players who like light edge wear on a military-style gun.
  • Buyers who want an everyday skin without extra cost.
  • Conclusion: a practical used look for regular play.
