Skin overview

Nova | Candy Apple is an Industrial Grade shotgun finish that splits the weapon into two colour blocks: bright red on the receiver and stock, dark metal on the barrel and pump. In Factory New the red is even and saturated, with crisp borders where it meets the dark parts. This is the cleanest version of a deliberately simple design.

Item type: shotgun. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear and Field-Tested.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The receiver, stock and front sight are painted solid bright red, while the barrel, magazine tube and ribbed pump forend stay dark gunmetal. The stock carries a ribbed grip section, also in red, and the trigger guard area is dark.

The red paint is intact on every part, including the edges of the stock and the ribbed grip. The dark barrel and pump look clean and uniform. In game the colour reads bright and even. Nothing on the weapon shows chipping.

Factory New quality — float range 0–0.07

The whole float range of Souvenir Nova | Candy Apple is 0–0.3; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (23% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Black, white and red stickers keep the clean two-tone scheme intact. Placing them on the dark barrel gives better contrast than on the red receiver, where red stickers would blend in.

• Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since a flat solid colour shows every chip.
• Look at the stock edges, butt and grip ribs, which lose paint first.
• Souvenir copies come with fixed stickers, so check whether they fit the look you want.
