Show allAllSkin overview
Clear Polymer is built around a transparent-casing illusion, and in Battle-Scarred that illusion is heavily worn. Large areas of the edges and raised parts lose paint, leaving a rough, scratched shell over the drawn internals. It is the most affordable way to have this Nova, with a worn look that some players prefer.
Item type: shotgun. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The whole Nova is covered in a pale grey-blue, glass-like finish that imitates a transparent casing. Through the forend a coiled spring is drawn around the magazine tube, and the receiver shows internal parts with bright green highlights.
In Battle-Scarred heavy wear covers the muzzle, forend, receiver edges and large parts of the stock. The drawn internals are interrupted by scratches, and the green details are partly worn away. In game the skin reads as a rough, battered shotgun, with the transparent idea visible mainly on the flatter central surfaces.
Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–1
The float of Souvenir Nova | Clear Polymer ranges from 0 to 1; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–1 — 55% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Operation Broken Fang Collection with 17 skins in total.
It drops from Operation Broken Fang Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Green, silver or holographic stickers match the green highlights and glassy grey-blue shell. Placing them on the receiver keeps the drawn springs on the forend and grip visible.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the see-through effect depends heavily on clean edges.
- Look at the muzzle, the forend edges and the bottom of the stock, as these lose paint first.
- Make sure the green accents on the receiver and near the muzzle are still visible on worn copies.
- Check applied stickers and name tag, as bright or busy stickers can clash with the clean transparent look.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
- Players looking for the cheapest entry to this skin.
- Fans of a rough, battered style.
- Pick it for price and character, not for the clean transparent effect.
