Show allAllSkin overview
The skin is a restrained spray-paint camo on the Nova: wide patches of red and grey over a dark blue base. Minimal Wear keeps that look practically intact, and only a close inspection may reveal faint marks on the outermost edges. In game it is hard to tell apart from a Factory New copy.
Item type: shotgun. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Minimal Wear
The barrel and magazine tube are dark with a reddish tint, carrying the camouflage in long stretched patches. The pump forend shows pale grey and white stripes across its ribs, which makes it the lightest part of the weapon.
Tiny scuffs may appear on the muzzle and the tips of the forend ribs. The camouflage on the receiver, barrel and stock stays fully clean. In game these marks are almost invisible. The overall look matches Factory New closely.
Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15
The whole float range of Souvenir Nova | Ghost Camo is 0–0.4; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (20% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The eSports 2013 Winter Collection with 12 skins in total.
It drops from eSports 2013 Winter Case (on sale since Jul 9, 2014).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Stickers in dark red, navy, grey or white blend with the camouflage palette. Matte or paper stickers suit the military look better than bright holographic ones. Placing them on the receiver keeps them next to the red and grey patches.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low value keeps the muzzle and forend ribs cleaner.
- Look at the pump forend first, because its raised ribs show wear earlier than other parts.
- Inspect the pattern placement, as the large patches can put more red or more grey on the receiver and stock.
- Note any applied stickers or name tag, as they change how the camo looks.
Who should buy Minimal Wear
- Players who want a near-clean look without paying for Factory New.
- Sticker crafters, since the receiver stays untouched.
- A sensible middle ground between appearance and cost.
