Skin overview

In Battle-Scarred the acrylic pour on the Nova is broken up by wide scratched areas, leaving turquoise and gold only in scattered islands. The result is a rough, used look where the marbling becomes part of the wear rather than the main feature. It suits players who like a worn weapon over a clean one.

Item type: shotgun. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The barrel and receiver are covered in a marbled pour of blue-grey and turquoise with brown and gold veins, separated by thin pale lines. The pump forend stays dark steel grey with its ribbed grooves, which frames the colourful parts.

Most of the barrel and receiver are scratched down to grey, leaving only patches of turquoise and gold. The stock is worn at the heel, toe and grip ribs, with the pattern surviving mainly in the flat middle. In game the Nova reads as a heavily used grey shotgun with traces of colour.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.678

The float of Souvenir Nova | Turquoise Pour ranges from 0 to 0.678; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.678 — 34% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir Nova | Turquoise Pour belongs to The Ascent Collection, which holds 28 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Price by quality

Among 3 skins of the Nova in the Industrial Grade grade and this quality, this skin is the dearest.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in turquoise, teal, gold or cream match the pour colours and blend into the marbling. Holo or gold stickers on the receiver echo the gold veins, while a single sticker on the side of the barrel keeps the pattern readable.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, because copies near the lower edge look noticeably cleaner on the barrel.
  • Look at the muzzle, the top of the barrel and the receiver corners, as these lose paint first.
  • Compare screenshots of the stock, since the pour pattern is placed differently on each copy and some show more gold.
  • Check applied stickers and any name tag, as they change the look and do not add value for every buyer.

Who should buy Battle-Scarred

  • Players who like heavily used, scratched weapons.
  • The cheapest way to own this finish.
  • Worth it if the rough look appeals more than the pattern itself.
