Skin overview

Battle-Scarred takes the post-apocalyptic idea to its end: large areas of the copper paint are gone and the gun turns mostly dark with orange remnants. The silhouette of the stencils and the stock panel can still be made out. It is the most affordable way to own the skin, and its theme tolerates heavy wear.

Item type: shotgun. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The forend is the focal point: copper-orange with fine ribbed grooves and darker rust streaks running along it. The receiver continues the copper and brown tones, with a light WILD stencil near the ejection area.

Large areas of copper are worn away on the forend, receiver and stock, leaving mostly dark metal with orange remnants. The WILD stencil is barely readable and the number panel is heavily scratched. At normal distance the gun reads as dark with rusty accents. Only traces of the original colour remain in recessed areas.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.8

The float of Souvenir Nova | Wild Six ranges from 0 to 0.8; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.8 — 44% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Clutch Collection with 17 skins in total.

The source is Clutch Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Rusty orange, brown and teal stickers continue the post-apocalyptic palette, and stencil-style or worn-look designs suit it best. Placements on the receiver near the WILD lettering or on the stock beside the number panel keep the forend's ribbed artwork visible.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within its wear grade, since a low float keeps the forend and stock edges noticeably cleaner.
  • Look at the WILD stencil and the teal number panel, as these details show wear early and define the skin's look.
  • Inspect the forend edges and stock corners in the inspect view, because that is where the copper wears through first.
  • Check applied stickers and the name tag to make sure they suit the orange-teal scheme.

Who should buy Battle-Scarred

  • Budget entry for anyone who simply wants the skin in the inventory.
  • Players who like a heavily worn, dark gun with rusty accents.
  • Conclusion: the cheapest way to own Wild Six, and its theme tolerates heavy wear.
