Skin overview

Yorkshire gives the Nova the look of a traditional hunting shotgun, built on bronze, gold and dark metal rather than bright colour. In Field-Tested the gloss starts to break on edges and the gold ribs, which suits the weathered, used character the finish already suggests.

Item type: shotgun. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The barrel is dark blued metal with a slight blue-violet sheen, ending in a black front sight, while the ribbed pump grip under it is black. The receiver is painted deep glossy bronze with thin gold lines along its edges, and the magazine tube cap stays plain silver metal.

Paint chips become visible along the receiver edges, the stock heel and the raised gold ribs on the grip. The gloss on the flat bronze areas starts to look slightly uneven. In game the colour scheme is still fully readable, with the wear showing mostly as light spots on the edges. The barrel and the centre of the stock still look largely intact.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Sport & Field Collection with 16 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Gold, brown and black stickers, including holo or foil gold, blend well with the bronze body. Placing them on the receiver side keeps the classic look, while a single dark sticker on the stock keeps the gold accents in focus.

What to check before buying

• Check the float position within the wear range, since copies near the lower end look noticeably cleaner on the edges.
• Inspect the gold ribs on the grip and the receiver edges, as these are the first places where the paint chips.
• Souvenir copies come with stickers already applied, so check whether they suit the bronze and gold scheme.
• Look for an existing name tag or stickers on regular copies if you plan your own craft.
