Skin overview

P2000 | Acid Etched is recognised by its dark base and network of bright, acid-coloured lines, a look that holds up under heavy wear better than many clean finishes. In Battle-Scarred the slide edges, the muzzle and the grip are clearly worn, and the colours look faded and patchy. The pattern still shows through in the middle of each part, giving a rough, used look at the most accessible grade.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The slide is painted in dark indigo with a purple-blue sheen toward the muzzle, crossed by lime-green, yellow and orange veins, and a small green clover shape can appear near the rear of the slide. The frame and trigger guard pick up iridescent blue and turquoise tones, while the grip is filled with bright lime and yellow lines over its textured panel.

All edges of the slide, the muzzle, the trigger guard and the grip are heavily worn, and the colours look faded across most of the surface. The bright lines break up into scattered patches over the dark base. In game the pistol reads as a dark weapon with fragments of acid colour rather than a full pattern. The flat middle of the slide and the grip still keep traces of the design.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–1

The float of Souvenir P2000 | Acid Etched ranges from 0 to 1; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–1 — 55% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Prisma 2 Collection with 17 skins in total.

The source is Prisma 2 Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Holo or foil stickers in green, yellow or blue echo the etched lines, while dark or matte stickers sit well against the indigo base. Placing them on the flat sides of the slide keeps the bright grip pattern in view.

What to look at before you buy

  • Look at the pattern of this specific copy to see whether the four-leaf clover appears and how visible it is.
  • Check the float position within the wear range, since low-float copies look closer to the cleaner grade.
  • Inspect the slide edges, the muzzle and the trigger guard, where the finish wears first.
  • Note any applied stickers or name tag and whether the copy is a StatTrak™ or Souvenir version.

Who should buy Battle-Scarred

  • Players looking for the cheapest way into the pattern.
  • Those who like a dark, heavily used look with fragments of colour.
  • An entry option for those who prefer character over cleanliness.
